Using this website and accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of the Glasscraft Adelanto Sunrooms & Patios website and the estimates, quotes and work we provide. When you browse the site, contact us or book a project with us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
On this page, "we," "us" and "our" mean Glasscraft Adelanto Sunrooms & Patios. "You" means the person using the site or hiring us. For an overview of what we do, start at our home page.
What we do
We're a sunroom contractor in Adelanto, CA. We design and build sunroom additions, patio enclosures, screen rooms, patio covers and related work for homes in Adelanto and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page.
The service descriptions on this site are general. They explain the kinds of work we do and don't promise a particular design, material, product or result for your house. What we build for you is set by the written estimate or contract for your project.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and done at your property, and there's no pressure to book. We base an estimate on what we can see and measure during the visit, the design and materials you choose, and the condition of your house that day.
A price isn't final until it's in a written contract signed by both of us. Once work starts we sometimes find something we couldn't see at the estimate, like damaged framing or a slab that can't carry the room. If that happens, or if you ask for changes, we'll explain it and give you the added cost in writing before we do that work.
Anything on this website about cost is general information and isn't a quote. Material prices change, so an estimate holds only for the period written on it.
Scheduling and cancellation
Once the contract is signed, we'll give you a start date and an expected length for your project. Weather, material deliveries, permit review, inspections and conditions we find on site can all move those dates, and we'll tell you as soon as we know a date is changing.
If you need to move or cancel an estimate visit, call us at (760) 523-8749 or tell us through our Contact page as early as you can. Your contract and any cancellation rights you have under California law decide how a signed project can be cancelled. Some materials can't be returned once we order them, especially custom-sized glass and panels, and your contract will say how those costs are handled.
Payment terms
Your contract sets the payment schedule, including any deposit and when progress and final payments are due. Before you sign, we'll tell you which payment methods we accept.
Final payment is due when the work in the contract is complete unless your contract says otherwise. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's brought current, and we may use the remedies California law gives a contractor for unpaid work.
Warranties and what they don't cover
Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written in your contract, and it covers only what that document says. Windows, glass, panels, roofing and other products we install carry their makers' own warranties, and we'll pass those along to you. Each maker sets its own terms, so keep their care instructions with your paperwork.
Warranties don't cover damage from misuse, from changes or repairs made by someone else, from skipped upkeep, or from events outside our control such as storms, high winds, earthquakes or ground settling.
Apart from those written warranties and any that California law requires, this website and its general information are provided "as is." We don't promise the site is free of errors or always available, or that general information here fits your particular house.
Limits on our liability
To the extent California law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses tied to your use of this website or to our work, such as lost use of a room or lost income. Our total liability for any claim about a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow a business to limit, such as liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing here takes away rights you have under California law that can't be waived.
If we disagree about something
If something isn't right, call us first at (760) 523-8749 or reach us through our Contact page. Most problems on a job get sorted out on site, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't settle it within 30 days after you tell us about the problem, either of us may take the matter to small claims court or another court in California that has jurisdiction. Your contract may set a different process first, such as mediation, and if it does, that process applies.
Which law applies
These terms and any contract with us are governed by the laws of the State of California. If these terms and your signed contract disagree, the contract controls for your project.
If a court finds any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted. An update doesn't change a contract you've already signed with us.
If you have questions about these terms, reach us through our Contact page or call (760) 523-8749.
